I was picked up this morning by my guide Prakash and the driver and we went to Nargakot hill to see sunrise and the Himalaya mountains... The drive was quick...... read more However... Even if it's early don't forget to eat something light because of the roads and the serpentines..
Despite the rainy season I was lucky to get a view of the mountains and I started to enjoy the knowledge of Prakash who could point out the different mountains and gave me some explanation.
On our way down (my first visit to Nepal) we had to stop several. Times because I wanted to get out of the car to see rice fields and just the nature. This was never a problem and Prakash an me also walked for a while and the driver picked us up later own.
We arrived early in Bhaktapur so I was also able to witness the temple chanting in the morning. Prakash guided me trough the area answering all my questions and took really good care!
Two last things:
First... Traveling as single women I want to emphazise that I felt the whole time safe and secure with Prakash and the driver.
Second... Try to get some more sleep beforee the tour than I did... I think I missed a few views on the way back because I was falling asleep (which actually also indicates for the quality of the driver...)

Mr. Prakash is only one guide we found in Kathmandu who is really excellent in all perspective for your trip in Kathmandu. When he did master degree that time he wrote one book as thesis or practical paper. He wrote that book about Chepang Peoples, like jungle peoples or hunting and gathering stage peoples. That place is in Prakash origin place in Dhading and Chitwan Nepal called Chepang Hill Trekking trail. So we plan to visit this trek and his origin place after 1 year.
