Bardhia National Park



 The Bardiya National Park is situated in the far west terai region of Nepal. From the wildlife point of view, this park is not significantly different than other National Park but, this is least explored and not crowded, because of it’s distance from Kathmandu or from Pokhara. Bardiya National Park can reach by long drive from Kathmandu or fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj.  This park is the largest and most undisturbed wilderness area in the terai providing excellent habitat for most of the endangered species of wildlife and birds. The park covers an area of 968 sq. KM. It has extensive and varied wildlife-all endangered rhinoceros, Wild elephants, The Royal Bengal Tiger, Swamp deer, Black buck, Gharial Crocodile, Gangetic Dolphins.




















More than thirty different mammals, over 400 species of birds, many snakes, lizards , and fish have been sighted and recorded in the park’s forest, grassland and river habitats. Among these include, Langur monkey, common leopard, Jungle cat, fishing at, large and small Indian civets, mongoose, hyena, wild dog, jackal, sloth bear, otter, porcupine, bandicoots, blue bull (Nilgai), Sambar deer, hog deer, barking dear, wild boar etc. This park is one of the best place to view the most magnificent of cats, The Royal Bengal Tigers.



















Standard safari program Itinerary – 03 Nights 04 Days



1st Day :-

Departure from Kathmandu by Bus or by Flight and receive by jungle guide from the bus station or airport and proceed to resort. Arrive in the resort and visit Tharu life and culture through our Tharu village/culture tour.




2nd Day:-

Whole day walking safari to view Gangetic Dolphins and swimming also possible.




3rd Day:-

Exploration of Tiger territory by foot before lunch. Elephant back safari or jeep safari in the afternoon.




4th Day:-


Bird watching tour will be carried out very early morning followed by the opportunity to relax or explore the surrounding villages again. After lunch Departure to Kathmandu or to Pokhara or other destination by bus or by flight.
